Translation services
Students can request that their session be translated into their native language using Zoom AI translation services.
Students who wish to request that their session be in a language that a counselor does not speak can use Zoom AI translate at no additional charge.
Please direct them to message support@bettermynd.com with the following information:
- The email the student used to register for BetterMynd
- Their first and last name
- Your institution
- The first and last name of their counselor
- The date and time of the session (Including time zone)
- The language for the translation
Here is an example of what that email should look like:
"Hi my name is John Doe and I attend BetterMynd University. I wish to have my upcoming session use Zoom AI Translate in Japanese. My counselor is Jane Doe and our session is at 6:00 EST on 1/1/2025. My email is johndoe@bettermynd.com"
When a student requests translation services, both the student and counselor will turn on captions (in their chosen language) and will see written text. This will allow the student to communicate effectively with a counselor.
